Attitude adjustment

I GOT A NEW 'TUDE!
i said it loud

 cause..
i meant to be rude

go away dark..


you're  blocking my light
seem to be too few times
where things work out right

This new attitude..


i'm enacting it right now


i firm up my face, and wipe my brow
i focus on my child, now  i'm all aglow

 

  

This new 'tude

ain't bout no magic show

life is hard, i know

don't give up though

keep the mind open to grow

 

Positive attitude, progresses and advances

to be hopeful of tomorrow, and another chance

    to take pride in your own childs accomplishments and acheivements is an awesome thing! I loved the postiveness in this piece... its refreshing!

    Upbeat and written with a wonderful, cheery voice that made me smile just reading it. Very inspiring made me feel good inside (oh gawd so cliche I know )

    'Go away dark...you're blocking my light" - brilliant line here!

    This could've been a real sappy, lame little poem but it wasn't. You made it fresh and invigorating to read, so thanks for that and have a fantastic day ^_^

    slice it
    dice it
    chop it

    Unsure

    Basically a feel good piece with some good, catchy lines, but im afraid thats about it.
    I dont feel any real emotions here, its all a bit fickle. The flows off also on this piece, you know its a bit stop and start, which when reading it makes the reader stop and start, so it could use alittle work.
    Saying that I know what you trying to do with this, being positive, keep your head high, getting through the hard times, are all phrases that spring to mind here.
    Overall, its not a piece for me but from other peoples comments its enjoyable to some
