There is a song a girl can sing
To rivers, trees and and mountain streams
The sunlight what she wants to bring
To caress this world's worn seams
A voice so rich it charms the sky
Soothes our hearts and dries our tears
Makes all hurt spirits leap and fly
And leads us to our hidden fears
Earth she walks and spreads the words
Through wind, ocean, ground and flame
From her lips soar songs like birds
They vanish, like all worthless blame
Her tears are shed for our hurt Earth
She sings in hope for sweet rebirth.

Nice. I totally agree with the sentiment as well. (^_^) It took me a while to realize it was a Sonnet and then I reread it and got it. Your rhyme is subtle and that works well with this one.
