Grimly: schooled against fear
Of the extremes they were open to;
Maintaining an austerely equinaminous air
They circled within the stones
At that time of year
When the moon was at its' largest.
This was where they travelled.
In mid-ritual
They were seen to be united
In wonder serene,
Surveying the scene
Of giant metal insects in the sky
Over a repairing land.
They travelled as it were,
From turning-point to turning-point,
Before returning home.
Author notes
this is a pre write... technical hitch will not allow me to submit it as such.... it also will not allow me to choose my background, as much as i like this picture it does not go with my poem.... regardless.

Ritual at stonehenge!
A good concept that I would have liked to see expanded without the alien space craft.
