brilliant midnight snow
the moon kneels down whispering
her deepest secrets

interesting...
I really don't know what else to say. It's so short, but I can't help but feel as if I'm missing something here...
thanks for your entry -
there is nothing more lovely than
snow meeting the moon in a natural coming together of quiet and light
as always this is lovely-

A brilliant reflection
of snow white purity! I have seen this beauty and your words paint it again in one crystal stroke of midnight.

you know....
i have to say i really loved this...
the moon kneeling--- that is what captivated me
where it took me...in my own life of memories...
this for some reason reminded me of my father
i am sure for you it is something totally else LOL...
the way you personified the moon-- kneeling...
i am so stuck there in real enjoyment
and i go to other places too.... the first one of my father and winter memories going out and watching the reflection of the moon on the top of the mountains in new hampshire....
the second....
takes me to a darker place.... the not so innocent secrets- eh... i cant help it because of my old job-- i just go there-- it is a character flaw in me and in no way of your writing.
so instead... i go back to the almost guardianship feel and i am happier there in its brilliance.
i adored this write. Thank you so much for taking the time to enter it into our contest and i hope my comment did it some sort of justice!

Thanks for your thoughts, M'am. It is a moment we must all have hidden away in our memories: a moment of moonlight, gleaming snow and quiet personal communion with the night...

Neat.

enchanting is the word!

I love this piece. The words really created an image in my mind of so much peace and tranquility. It is sometimes these short pieces that can say so much, but only if the words sit nicely together, and yours did. Well done and good luck in the contest.
