another year closes behind me
as resolution dawns
on the eve of new beginnings,
feeling unsure of where life
seemed to take a wrong turn
I await the mercy of resolve,
mistakes reach up
clutching hands of forgiveness
and I kneel to divine guidance,
cleansed with assurance
negativity is out with the old,
promise rings in a new day
and faith cascades abundant.

a good piece of poetry penned - ah yes, forgiveness comes to us all i think, as long as we reach out for its hand with a genuine smile in our eyes and in our hearts. if we desire a better tomorrow to come fluttering towards us then that is what we receive i reckon, we make it happen, whatever we wish for inside of life's realms then that is our for the taking.
