The sun-kissed sea and you and me
Some shortbread and some wine
The sights to see and poetry
A touch of the divine
A cooling breeze two souls at ease
Soft waves to kiss the feet
The rustling trees a perfect frieze
A dream that's not complete
Too far away perhaps one day
When all of life is right
I have to say in love I'll stay
Until the last goodnight

good job! a very well written poem. My favorite part is "a touch of the divine, a cooling breeze between two souls". this poem was very easy to visualise. It made me feel like I was on the beach with my lover...I liked it a lot. Good write! I wish you well in the contest.
