A flower so beautiful
Now with wilting pedals
Everyday one more disappears
A memory of what once was beautiful
Slowly fading away.
Eventually ceasing to exist
As though it was never there
Leaving no trace of its existence

Here your flower is a symbol for our fleeting lives. That existence is beautiful but all too transient. It fades away and what remains? Just the memory that others have of us, while they exist. Nicely done!
