How does one describe the color of death?
It starts months before the actual march of death begins.
The organ system dying determines the color the skin takes on.
A dying heart brings colors of gray and blue.
A dying liver brings about colors of yellow.
Cancer is a grayish yellow palor.
Each color a constant reminder of death and
the path it will take.
Your color has taken a grayish yellow tone that has
progressed since your PSA went up.
It is not a death I wish for you but then it is more merciful
than the alternative.
One that leaves the skin alone but takes away the mind.
Leaving but an empty shell that doesn't know the day or time.
A shell that can last for years and years looking in the peak of health
so no one knows you've died and left your body here to wait
for your color to change and you watch your body die from somewhere' way on high.skye2008
