i
you were discussing hedge fund securities.
i asked the waitress if they had any kind of biscotti. they didn't. i poured you some tea, then sat back and slow-sipped my afternoon.
driving along tenah merah, you were still calculating returns on the multi-currency swap. i wanted you to notice all the beautiful dogs sitting in the front porches. if i ever get one, i want to call him kikujiro.
he might ruin the carpet, though.
ii
we did groceries.
i bought a new plant for the house.

Life and the busy things that fill our time and the way we can crowd our lives, I like the images here art and sights, all flowing in stream of events...and the tedium too which somehow...leads to happiness. Yes, I suspect it would be a michievous dog, leaving proof everywhere! This is so very well done in prose...uses the freedom of prose, thank you for this fine entry into the contest, best of luck in the judging...PK
