Love's Name?

Do you know loves name?
Have you ever played loves game?
Has love ever made you cry?
Did she get up and say good-bye?
I’ve walked with love hand and hand.
I grew up with love; she taught me how to be a man.
I’ve watch love pass me by.
I’ve seen love through others eyes.
One day she came in like a storm, cold and wet.
The next day she just up and left.
Love hurts so bad it burns.
Love teaches you. You’ll learn.
Love is never free,
But don’t pay cash, she cheap.
Love is blind.
Keeps you up all night,
Plays with your mind.
So do you know love’s name?
Welcome love, maker her your friend.
she will be back time and time again.

    Welcome to All Poetry

A very truthful write that I am sure many people can relate to. You have described both sides of love. Thanks for sharing this with us.

    Welcome to AllPoetry

Quite a write. I was drawn in by a few lines

"One day she came in like a storm, cold and wet.
The next day she just up and left."

    "Love is never free,
But don’t pay cash, she cheap."

Great lines there I think they keep the poem just that bit stronger
