Basket filled of miscellaneous fibers
we await conception by His almighty hand,
great pride and joy fills His fingertips
anointed ones of His master plan.
Slowly now He treads the wheel
drafting fibers till it’s right,
singing in sweet adoration
a multitude of colors soon take flight.
Some are rough and sturdy wool
various neutrals and warm grays,
while others are of shiny silk
deep tones of crimson and biscay.
Some are delicate fine linens
twisted of precious silver and gold,
no two the same, uniquely crafted
perfected till we grow cold.

what came to mind when i read this were the colors of a sandy beige and a gold (:
