The breeze tells many secrets
that nobody can understand,
encircled by a boisterous wind
that takes apart the land.
Whispers heard with every gust
that brought the city down,
a message swiftly echoes
across the entire town.
People run in panic
as the waters slowly rise,
many on the high land
were caught by this surprise.
The waters reached higher land
and some people drowned,
many cried fearful tears
and were yet to be found.
Prayers rose up from the earth
that reached to heaven above,
God heard many survivors pray
and sent Angels with His love.
The town survived much damage
and was ready to rebuild,
sadly in the aftermath
they found that some were killed.
The people came together
to mourn those that died,
for in the terror of the storm
many in a panic cried.
Nobody can understand the sorrow
that rises after the pain,
unless they feel the thunder
and face the winds and rain.
Put yourself in their place
as the intense fear rises,
just how would you feel
to deal with such surprises.
