Beat Poem
Within my dream of love
We were all Baboons
Dancing with balloons
To our heartsick tunes
Like lonely loons
Roses in bloom
On that night in June
Below the golden Moon
By an old lagoon
And the crickets crooned
Neath their silvery dunes
Where starlite loomed
twixt cocanut plumes
Then came a baboon
Who had no balloon
Kill him dead do it soon
Screeched a bouncing baboon
He is not like us
He hath no ballooneth
To go with his tuneth
Other balloons went boom
I don't want a blue baloon
I want a red baloon
Shrieked a lady baboon
On that night in June
And a melee ensued
That spelled our doom
And the devil swooned
As our extinction resumed
