grey hair,
grey thoughts -

bleak together.

This is lovely! I read it, I get it, I live it. It should be melancholic, but somehow it does not strike me that way. I read this almost as a statement of fact, an observation, but with an awareness, a depth of understanding of the process. "Bleak together" says it all. Bleak is the perfect word for bot the graying and the desolate feeling that could be incurred, and yet "together" somehow cancels that out somewhat for me by reminding me of the universality of such circumstances. This process is in order, as it should be, and we are not alone.
Wonderful poetry, from a beautifully graying lady.

Yes but you are such a lovely soul that you will age and be stately and beautiful forever

You depressed me, not your poems quality, but your honesty...the poem fits me all to well!

It's hard not to look back at those athletic days, I could do pretty much anything, run for hours, work forever. Bow I need a rest between bites of pizza.
And I have some gray hairs coming in this silly hair of mine...darned winter...
Thanks, yet another excellent entry...my contest over-floweth.
