The total sinfullness of steel,
lost in red hot bawdy dance.

OMG! This made me see my father in his workshop, when welding spatter went down his overalls and he danced around, yelling and yahooing and trying to brush it down and out...a red hot dance, very protective of some parts.

Welding is an art, or at least a skilled craft. I had a niece who was a welder in the Air Force...and in private life for a time. A small thing, the niece I mean, you'd never think she'd be a welder.

Anything we love or take pride in, we find beauty...or attach images too...here its the welding, the arhs and such. Thanks for entering my contest.

Such joy to manipulate the dancing puddle of molten steel, pulling it forward in tiny steps to form the rhythmic ripples of the weld.
