I'm walking free on an abondoned street
Talking with the ghost that's left
It has been crying for centuries now
Wondering when it will descend;
it was Esoria.
She showed to me a picture that she drew
It could fill up any human eye
It hangs there mute on our filthy walls
An art unseen and lingering;
it was Esoria.
Hidden in cloaked colors everywhere
Both true in water and in smoke
In the air and under ground
She hides the purpose to our minds;
that's Esoria.
When we are all awake we'll see her sleep
Tired from unlocking all these doors
But I guess our hands will keep on spading
And from the bottom of our hole;
the tears of Esoria will rain upon us all.

A romantic ghost write!
A longing for what we can't have, the 'spirit' of our desires.

Esoria seems to be some sort of mistress of mysteries.
Does the name come from from the word 'esoteric' by any chance? I love the lines "It hangs there mute on our filthy walls
An art unseen and lingering;" it reminds me of those people who hang spiritual art on their wall but never seem to be quite sure of what it means when questioned. Yes, it is easy to miss Esoria, because the truth is everywhere. I love the repetition of Esoria. The name is beautiful, has a mythical dimension to it and it does a lot for the piece. Well crafted. -

It's allways nice to see some enlightened beings
Yes, I took the name of off esoteric. The wall thing wasn't really ment as a literally one, but it could be that too off course. It's that wall of society and modern day we're all building that's missing the beauty of nature and the world as it used to be and should be. I think we're all growing apart from reality.
Thanks for the comment!

This is a beautiful piece. Full of imagery and emotion. It has a good flow and message. One question: Who is Esoria?

She's the answer we all seek. She's the feeling when you understand, when you see everything as it is. But the way this sick and busy world is, she can't be seen.
