Travelling along a winding dirt road
sometimes takes us places
that we never imagined
never dreamed of
nor ever wanted to be.
For you see there is never a sign
telling you if your path is true.
No towns
for you to stop
and fullfill all your needs.
There is just this
long winding dirt road
and you.
As time passes
you long for companionship
during this journey
but you know
that there is none to be gotten
for you
are on this journey alone.

Possible editing: Needs a stronger show rather than tell, a little too narrative.
