The empty hissing whispers,
counterfeit atonement rising,
screams to the bemused demon
straddling their universe of injury;
broken and seized by entropy,
inflicted by paramount deceptions,
can you call this, Hell?
Seditious souls bent groveling,
a beast on all fours crawling,
under weight of a thousand corpses
of each love divided and destroyed;
with a whiplash of reptiles tongue,
flicking saliva lies to cloud the skies,
to shower down like venom.
With an infinity of anguished lust,
do these serpents not wish
for a vacant black oblivion?
Where a God would offer obliteration,
or find a crater of their own making
to crawl into and sleep through the ages,
can it multiply another hate?
Silence screams in loneliness
as vapid pits are drained dry
of all but blisters and blanketing ash;
infection teemed with living ignorance,
the insular universe folding inwards
leaving nothingness in it’s stead,
but is that a justice to the wronged?

Prompt: What I want you to do is look at my poems and pick a title and write a poem with the same title as mine. It doesn't have to be the same topic at all, but it can be.
Title Used: Empty Void
This poem has double meaning. You can read it as being about lies, trickery, deception, or you can read it as being about nuclear war.

I read it as being about hell and the evils of people, but I suppose that does fit in with the lies/deception route. Though, obviously Nuculear War is a form of evil on it's own merit. Very strong here, you have described something in many ways we can't find the words to describe.
