Season's greetings!!
Here's to the food
and the eggwhite beatings!
We've hung our gym socks
by the burning embers,
waiting for the fat man
to come this December.
Placed out some ricecakes
arranged in a row,
along with some water;
to keep his blood pressure low.
He better put boxes
of every size and shape
'neath our evergreen
we've made out of tape.
Let's get to bed
so he can come by
and leave all those boxes
for you, them, and I.

LOL... This was fun. Couldn't use quite a few words, but it was a fun challenge to take part in. Anti-word-bank poems are great!

I almost flagged ya for the 3rd word in the forth line, then I realized that eggwhite was one word, not two. Then I realized "What am I do doing trying to judge an anti wordbank at 6:24 in the morning?!"

Oh phew!! I almost went a wee bit nutty...
I too, am here bright and early..for what? Not sure yet... just felt like it.
I smushed egg and white together, they are now..one word as they should be.

This actually got a good giggle out of me. I will admit that I was concerned that this contest was going to be difficult at best and impossible at worst. You proved me wrong, infusing a holiday piece with a bit of humor.

I thought this would be extremely hard.... however, it wasn't too bad! It was challenging, don't get me wrong... but I think I succeeded. I had to keep checking the list to make sure .. lol
