I watch faithfully for the glimmer
of your guiding light to shine

It seems my sadness draws me closer
in search for that perfect answer
I can't seem to find till You point it out.
I look ahead hoping for just a glimpse...
knowing the very sight will soothe my aching heart
restoring my faith as it douses all doubt.
