My Feather

You grow on my wings
I can feel the loss of you
You help me fly
and keep me warm
Without you I am naked
sometimes I feel your stiffness
As I run my beak on you
The thrill I get caressing you
So light and willing
you are my Feather

Now this is creative and quite a lovely write. I like the image of the bird preening. I really enjoyed this piece.
