Cerulean Serenity's Streams

Upon the surface of life many scenic faces
serenity flows in soft azure layers,
we can sail its watery silk and feel the calm it inspires,
exposing its secrets with a transparent vulnerability,
creating the deep trust in its quiet truths
as we lift our gaze to absorb the sky’s turquoise canopy,
swimming it with a sense of its sheltering security,
yet mesmerized by its sheer texture
that touches with an intensity
over how it can be both frail and yet strong.

How the heart swims the assuring sensations,
which entice with their disarming sapphire appeal
unto we see in pupils of those with ocean orbs
a hint of the call that comes
when caressed by the spell of air and sea.

Wondering if in that look we see
there flows the same traces of tranquility
lurking in the mystery
we paint with curiosity.

Author notes

2: In the book, Lynn, the older sister of the narrator, says:
"The blue of the sky is one of the most special colors in the world, because the color is deep but see-through both at the same time. The ocean is like that too, and people's eyes." You can write whatever it inspires, about all three things or just one.

First entry (and probably last) in my contest! Love it, the ending and beginning are perfect, and your vocabulary and wording is great. Thanks for following the rules, and best wishes!
