I never felt this way
With anyone but you
I never wanted to
Be taken care of
But now I want to
Be innocent

Barefoot on a summer's day
In a little pink dress

I always thought
I had to harden my heart
Make it unbreakable
Wear black, live in darkness
To me innocent
Was a dirty word
Reserved for the naieve
Poor souls
With no direction of their own
