Wishing I was there now
That safe and warm place
I left behind
Wishing I was there now
Where you are with the other
Friends I've lost
Wishing I was there now
But instead I'm sitting on my bed
Staring at a blank wall

Honest and pure.
I can relate to this poem in so many strange ways you wouldn't even begin to understand.
We don't know what we truly have until it has departed from our grasps.
Thanks for sharing

Reminds me of what my ex would say if he had a conscience. As he lost me and his friend as we are going out and he's hateful towards his friend now. Shame really, well he is still nice to him but my boyfriend doesn't like him due to all he did to me.
