I forgot how to breathe, to let go of the past
Lately Ive just felt so crazy...like a cutter without a purpose
Nothing I did or said was right
Not good enough or pretty enough
Too flawed for fixing and too insane to find help
My emotions were jumbled and feelings were mixed
Lost and disconnected from the world...until you found me
So glad you didnt leave me behind when you had the chance
I was so alone and fragile, so you lifted me up into your arms and held me ever so gently
Cared for me and called me yours
Slowly but surely you taught me how to be "me" again...my blackened lungs started to breathe once more
I fell hard, I fell head over heels in love with you
Thoughts of you consume my mind and your caring ways drown my heart
Now its a new type of crazy
The type of crazy where everything I do has a reason, my reason is you
Watching you while you sleep, holding you while youre holding me, and kissing so passionately
The realization that you are mine and that someone as amazing as you wants me
I choke up and run out of things to say, not that I mind feeling this way
Once again I forgot to breathe
But its fine with me
