Hearts Folly

When night descends to lay me down
Beneath the trodden ground
I will at last achieve the peace
In life I never found
Thoughts of me will pass away
As if I never were
I pray the wind will whisper soft
The memories of her
Where once we laughed falls silent now
A moment lost in time
In folly I had sought to hold
A heart that wasn't mine

Please tell me what you think
