I feel like giving up as a writer,
in poetry I seem to fail,
I try so hard to write a poem
but I never seem to prevail.
I can't get the rhythm right,
and my words seem a mess,
I try the best I can with it
but I will always be a poetess.
It is a dream to be published
with really good poems to see,
maybe one day I'll write a good poem
that will astonish you and me.
I hope, I dream, I have one wish
that I will one day succeed,
but for now all I can do
is find other poems to read.
