Thoughts transgress
Holding fast to past memories
Each having a lesson
Chalk lines in my dreams
I reach for no one
Reluctant in my own silence
Cycles of birth and death
Letting smiles be hidden
Encroached in the nightmares of reality
Oh so much confusion
Fasting in the midst of meditation
Life becomes so unreal
I think that I have a clue
For now
Each thought transgress

Eyow!
This is an intense Acrostic! I can totally identify with this write. Perhaps it's the mood I'm in right now, but this hits so close to home that I need to rest & contemplate! I'm reminded of how my thoughts of transgression hold me captive & cause more isolation. I can feel the depth of the pain in this & am crying inside! Oh...how I long for His coming & my Spirit body! Blessings to you Bill!

I like how you use the term circle of life like I do in tahe sense of a literal way and how the last line is also the first line, so this is technically 'a circle' itself.
