I remember hopes and dreams of Death
Breathing in more tainted breaths
Anguish and turmoil, incinerate desire
The passion of Love engulfed by fire
Selfless, selfish, the heart broken in two
Never do what you cannot undo
Never take what you can't repay
Or whisper words, you don't mean to say
I remember thoughts of smiles and joy
Ignorant to the fact, I was just a Gods toy
To play with, to break on any whim
When I no longer amused him
Tortured, twisted, torn apart
Like a fragile, porcelain heart
Don't discard nor throw away
You might need those shards one day
I remember thoughts and dreams of Death
Breathing in more tainted, poisoned breaths
Until a kiss of clean and purer air
When you came in and found me cowering there...

it's like Hell was kissed by an Angel.. a soft ruthlessness to this write.. Something deep dark and yet intriguing.. A cry for love yet fearful of it as well.. truly beautiful.. thank you very much for sharing..

This was written to be taken however the reader wants it to be taken..either love or friendship, both are important in our lives, and we strive to find them.
As for writing so many poems...I write them as they come to me, so sometimes there's a few, others...barely any, lol

I think everyone can relate to this poem in a way. Thoughts and dreams are intertwined in a way I think. It is a very sad piece, especially the end. Great write
