A whisper in my ear, warns me that you're here
A nudge on my shoulder, warns me your about to get colder
You say you'll be here forever, and begin to bind us together
You're eyes glisten like a fire, and it shows me your desire
I try to go away, because we all know your plan for today
At this moment in time, you become more gray than a rainy day
And as you become to come near, I know you can smell every ounce of my fear
I pray to God to let me fly away, so I never have to deal with you one more day
I ask him to let me see the color in the rainbow, instead of the black and white I've learned to know
But we all know your plan for today, and I know there is nothing more I can say
