I may be a dark figure
Living in a dark world.
I may be half a boy
Living in the body of a girl.
I may joke about things
That I care about.
I may seem like a piece of meat.
Although I'll never admit it
I may want to bow at loves feet.
I may not be looking
But eager to find.
I may hide my face
When the torch of interest shines.
I may confuse you
As I surely do myself.
I may not have found
My little place in the world.
I may seem like nothing
At first glance to you.
I may be nothing.
I may be just a shadow.
But look at the colour and light that surrounds.
Look at the beauty around me in bounds.
I live a dark life in a place of colour.
It's a hard life to live.
But look at the pretty white purity.
The love, the joy and devotion
That I have to give.

wow, I do believe you have written a very detailed write. It is strong, but balanced; and the flow and rhyme works well.
I enjoyed reading it, it was a very unusual poem
Thanks for entering and good luck!
