a Secret Plan

A secret plan inside his head,
He wouldn’t stop till they were dead.
The masked boy marched over the ground,
Looking, searching, without a sound.

Set on auto, unspooling thread,
A secret plan inside his head.
Then he drew his sword from his side,
Nowhere to run, no place to hide.

His foe stood there, frozen in fear,
The swordsman slashed from ear to ear.
A secret plan inside his head.
The blood ran free, the blood ran red.

It’s not a tale of days gone by,
Took place at school just last July.
School kids are screaming, filled with dread,
A secret plan inside his head.

the repetition and rhyme pattern in this are great, and really make it a powerful piece. i particularly liked the last stanza. Well done!
