I don't know but
I've been told....
Eskimo pussy is
might cold....
Am I right or wrong?
You're right.
Am I going strong?
You're right.
Sound off! 1-2
Sound off! 3-4
Break it on down!
1-2-3-4
1-2
3-4!

Did it make you think of army drill sergeants?

I like military marching chants as well as the next person, but didn't like either the word "Eskimo" or "pussy" in this context. I know Native Americans and First People don't like the first, and well, lots of women don't think the second is funny as used here, either. Sorry.

I stand humbled in the light of your righteousness
Lived in Eskimo villages for over 12 years, some little as a 100 ttl population so we all got to know each other. That was in the mid Kuskokwim and to lesser extent, Lower Yukon region. In all that time never heard a Yupik Eskimo call themselves First People, or Native American. But thank god though for sensitive PC characters like yourself that's quick to take offense for their sake. grrrrrr! Yes indeed. And for women, many will call that sweet spot between their legs, 'their pussy'. Most people that feign horror over some silly chant like mine, cringing at words like Eskimo and pussy, are frauds, pretenders to a 'righteousness' they've no real part of, or over-concerned citizens over matters little to be concerned about. And for the record, Eskimo pussy, Yupik at least, is not cold at all. Get real, it's not too late. But if you were truly harmed and offended, I do give a sincere sorry, wasn't my intentions. -

I've rather been waiting to hear a rant like the above. The only thing you left out is that I probably don't have a sense of humor! Sorry to upset you. I merely gave my opinion, and it only applied to the "military chant" and the two terms used in it, as they were used. I've read some of your other work and thought it was fine. Blessings, and keep up the good work.

I blew off without thinking
Apologies, I read your first reply and went on a rant, which was probably better than my chant. Any way sorry for coming out of my cage so poorly, and kudos to you for your second response. One of those things you think about AFTER you do it.

HAHAHAHAHA!!! YAY YAY YAY!
I love your humor and wonderful ability to write a chant.
I had to access this poem through the dark maze of your background and dark font by making the background go away and it was like sneaking into a secret place.
You smarty, you!

thanks
it seemed others took it a little too serious, but I'm glad for readers like you that appreciate a simple laugh.

Oh I see...
Not sure what word that defaulted to bunny is. I love army march sound offs. Certain words default to bunny since I opted for 18 and under wording. I think it is cute certain words default to bunny and love all the AllPoetry bunnies. -

Let me try again here...what?
This was an army like chant. I was in the army, I know what their chants sound like. There were no errors at all, no improvement on the real deal. The P word is fairly common chat for 12 and over. But if I've offended your soft rabbit self, it wasn't intentionally. -

I see... point taken...
The p word isn't as intense as the s word. I love that certain words default to bunny yet can be a challenge to decipher which one. To avoid KODAK moments I might be sensitive to I should just, as military term, "carry on" and skip commenting.
