his voice is soft
like a cushioned armchair -
thus he exaggerated
the sinking of
body shapes and behaviors
on him.
a cozy person.
pinched me at a game of scrabble,
crushed and rearranged the cover,
claimed to have no friends,
...but never broke.

I really like the way you write about this "cozy" person and I have a feeling that I know someone like this too! The second last stanza was my favorite - I like the style of it
