Your Poetry



Watching you read the gentle words
that croon to my heart turning it
from stone to a soft velvet flower.

I watch the way your mouth twists
how your lips pronounce words
as beautiful as a rainbow beaming
over mountains just after a spring rain.

Songs ever resounding like a waterfall,
a pure and deep song into my soul
that somehow becomes a wine.

I am intoxicated in the songs of your poetry.

    It is beautiful when another poet can inspire us in such a way that it makes feel a better person for it. Nicely done with this tribute to one of AP's wonderful writers.
