I am thankful for my family
and all that they do,
they are right by my side
and try to help me through.
No matter what is said
or what I have done,
they seem to understand
and I never have to run.
There is an understanding
between the ones we know,
a family together forever
is love that will always show.
God is with us in our hearts
when we deal with strife,
the example of Jesus
is that of eternal life.
As we all learn of Jesus
and follow in His ways,
it helps the whole family
that kneels down and prays.
My family is always there
and willing to forgive,
as I stay close to them
they teach me how to live.
They are most important,
I appreciate all they do,
they show unconditional love
and always remain true.
