Candy covered nightmares, daydreams, reverie
journey's leading nowhere, trying to break free.
Fingers of reality touch the hand illusion
swirling through a netherland, home to self delusion.
Can you taste a dream, touch it with your mind
lead it to existence, a vision unconfined.
Dream the dreams a child has, simple, careless, free
wishing for that something, we know will never be.
Never to dream, never to wish, never again to fly
never to touch that candy cloud calling from the sky.
Inside my dreams I wander, with footsteps going where ?
Does it even matter, should I even care ?

Caught in a place where dreams become a burden and rest an elusive handle just out of reach, as uyou describe a place akin to hell, without any dreams,
all the while aching for the dreams of a child, a very sad cry for help to the sandman, or your own soul to be showered in dreams of worth once more.~~Excellent write~~Artis
