Asleep in the tower of vision
Shadows deep
Chilling naked separation
Eyes wide shut
Chaos by default
All hosts, all guests
Everyone’s invited
System failures
Deceit, resistance
Descent
Untidy fragments
Impoverished existence
Eternally repeated storms
Ragged, tired flesh
Tumors ever growing
Ever gathering
Looming front and center
All around and through
Terror without, terror within
Signs are everywhere
Wisdom drifts in
A cold dark castle inhabited
Murky, musty, moldy
Huddled in a Chamber of chains
Extroverts of confined belief
Heavily sedated
Sleepwalking souls
Chatter upholds the day’s events
Noise without soul
No vacancies, no rents
Between love and loneliness,
Everyone is tripping
Unconscious realms
Grasping at grains of sand that can’t remain
To stop a wave’s curling brow
Tears and shrills of mindful pain
Silence
Shift begins
Signs and symbols appear
East wind blows west
On the move
Dawning here
A mind of its own
Time flows backward
Abrupt recollection
A beautiful curse
Feelings shall not come of words
Anthems are of a bygone era
Moon murmurs
A wave; a lost memory
Float up from the depth
Its your first time out
A sweet recollection
This ambient sleepy time
A gentle calling
Emptiness in a slow mind
Meditation
Intermission
Breath now creates the score
The river still flows
Downstream it goes
Nothingness beholds everything
Everything, nothing
Eyes wide open
Steel sunrise
The aroma of love
Compassion for a dead industry of fools
So newly dead
Freeing me
This interlude pondering my place
My space in now
My belonging
Forgiveness rules
Acceptance abounds
Separateness faded
Paradise uncovered
My infinite requiem
Can you feel the shift?

Excellent write, very deep and thoughtful. Unbelievable imagery. Great form. I loved it....
However, it blows the line limitation for my contest out of the water. I'm sorry but I have to remove you to be fair. Better luck next time and thanks for the read! -

I am just blown away by this. This is so surreal, image rich, so deep, and has wisdom beyond words. Thank you for sharing.
Love & hugs,
