I've Heard Them

They rip your gums when you release
Your words of hate, you thrust towards me.
Accusing eyes and burning passion to destroy
Everything I’ve strived to build. What’s so wrong
With what I’ve done; kindness, compassion, attention, trust.
Trust.
You’ve twisted everything and sent our rumors to do their deeds.
I can already feel their stinging lash.
You carry on and on and on….
Why?
What’s the point? Does seeing me shattered
Really give you so much joy? To those who believe:
You’ve been twisted and wronged. I’m nothing of the lies
He calms I am.
Lies,
From the liar who’s lie is I lie.
