The soft wind that once blew through the blossoming peach trees
Is now a raspy hollow whisper through the dead black branches
The soft pink petals that once gently kissed my cheeks as they fell
Are now long cold bony fingers scratching my face that is now stained with tears
My eyes that once danced with joy and warmth
Are now hollow voids, cold blank and dead
My lips that once sang happily and would show my meek smile
Are now stitched together in a cursed scowl
My cheeks that once where dotted with dozens of freckles
Are now a ghostly white stained with my sorrowful tears
And as the wind blows through the dead branches
I close my eyes and let it take my broken soul
Good-bye to those I love I'm sorry to go
But I can't take the pain I cause you anymore
And to those who've longed for me to die sense day one
You've gotten your wish, now please let my soul wander in peace
Author notes
As most of my poem this one was half written of boredom half written in a way to vent.....:'/

This is very beautiful.
I lovelovelove the imagery.
It gets a bit cliche towards the end, I think, but really is beautiful as a whole.
Best of luck!
