Frost hangs delicately
off silk petals
weighing you down
slowly you begin to wilt
a beautiful demise
the chill of winter
forces your bloom to yield
and shrink into the earth
from which you were born
but fear not
for spring will soon arrive
and you will be re-born
and full in bloom
once again
