I had a dream I'll share with you
It took place many years ago
I was taken back in time
Over many centuries you know
Back to the land of Joseph
And other Biblical people who
You learned about in Childhood
Up through the years as you grew
It is the time of Jesus birth
When shepherds were tending sheep
Out in the fields of Bethlehem
While the sheep were fast asleep
There were Angels in the sky
Singing Good tidings to all men
Unto you is born this day
The Savior in Bethlehem
You'll find Him in a Manger
He is the King of Kings
They left their flocks immediately
Took all their camels could bring
They came to worship the New Born King
Bringing gifts of frankincense gold and myrrh
The most valuable gifts of the times
Even more precious than fur
Glory to God in the Highest
The Prince of Peace has come
He is the Savior of the world
May God's own will be done
This is why we celebrate Christmas
Jesus in a Manger lay
God has sent His love this way
