Wake from reality into the dream
that lies inside your mind.
(outside your soul)
Turn around to see the night
burning with flames as pale as moonlight,
larger than the sea,
brighter than a star.
Open your heart.
(close your eyes)
And feel the dark
pounding in your chest with your
heavy, slowing pulse.
There are wonders here,
outside the dream.
(inside this reality)
Prometheus stole fire;
surely you can take a memory
of flames and stars and miracles.
