there is this silhouette
of sinew and leather
that joins me in the dark
i indulge in the things
i feel i dont have
like skin
bone
or much to say
just to say
i am living
again
scrape out the bowl
that is my brain
fill it with mothballs
and fantasy
because even fantasy
can get eaten away at
until what you thought you were going after
and what you got left with
are two separate and definite
things
will this world ever be enough
to satisfy my hunger
for anything more
than mundane
muted
meat
will
i
ever be enough
to satisfy my own hunger

"even fantasy get[s] eaten away" nice... i cant say much, i dunno why, or maybe this write has just blowned me away... simple, ambiguous, and to the point...
