Oh God
my hands, my eyes, my legs,
my complete body
is mine, I am proud of it
though I do comply that
I am the owner of my body
yet,I have not created it
it is YOU, the grandmother
and the only grandfather
behind all my reality
Oh God...

Absolutely TRUE
Yes! Great poem!

-
Very deep contemplation and thought provoking piece. So true that our form does not belong to ourselves - never thought about it that way! Always thought of the body as just a carrier of the soul.
Excellent write!

This is deeply contemplative I like the way you poresent yourself on an intamite level to the creator I think we all want that in our lives

-
Fine thoughts Prabhu, I must say that my favorite is "though I do comply that/I am the owner of my body/yet,I have not created it"
From the heart, wonderful reading.

A lovely piece...
A lovely piece; it is still amazing how the breath of God is passed from one generation to the next; our true reality is not tied to this earthly frame and like you I'm willing to shed my humanity and see my truest self; wonderfully done. --Joe

this is amazing, it has a lot of power to it, wow, i actually have a figurine similar to your photo in my room, i know it has nothing to do with the poem, but that totally blew my mind that you happened to attach that picture, anyway the write is just beautiful, and very thought provoking thank you for the entry
