Aurelian Sunlight.

Missing image

the last foliole of a tree sways against a tinkling breeze,

droplets collecting on it's skin,

attached but by a single filament, weak upon it's grip .

the petal gives in,

aurelian sunlight warming it's dew.

Prompt: http://autumn-ethereal.deviantart.com/art/Autumn-Ethereal-81379364

I wrote freely flowing and stopped when i thought it was done and then i realized i had gone WAY over the word limit. So I had to do a lot of condensing. I hope it didn't hinder my piece. I hope you like! Enjoy!

    Really beautiful.
Love your word choices here, they complement the poem so well. && I could see the picture clearly in my head without the image added above it.

Congrats on the gold! It was well-deserved.
