Like treasure here you are to me
With bright blue eyes and giggles
That wondrous look upon your face
As I bestow on you my tickles
My baby boy I looked so hard
But here you are given to me
The sweetest of joy as I behold
My own little family
No x on a map or blue lagoon
Not even under the palm trees
Just safe at home under our roof
Where no pirates could take you from me
The planet is yours and life a gift
Into this adventure you are free
Discover the world in its entirety
For all of which I want you to see
So let me share it with you
And experience all of life’s little pleasures
Until and still when the day arrives
When you have your own little treasures.
Author notes
all i could see was my little boys crystal blue eyes when i wrote this!!

Aww yes there is a wealth of treasure in those eyes I am sure
Lovely imagery, flow and rhyme in this, but could be a bit over the word limit
Thank you so much for your entry
