I welcome you both to the circle of life
the gatekeeper and gazelle, two souls entwined
soon to be joined by a creation of love
and sent as a gift from the heavens above
your hopes and fears about to come true
another human life, every breath on you
but inside you'll find everything you need
to enjoy your journey with another heartbeat
and as time passes by and everything grows
from a little baby flower to a breath taking rose
for she will be both halves of you
and bring tears of joy like beads of dew
so all thats left is to welcome this life
remember each other and walk side by side
and listen to the beauty in your baby Elysabeths cry
for then you will know your angel has arrived
