Hating the time slices of silence,
severing everything we saw in one another.
The truth...
is something all together different,
as reality to actuality.
Running with these post-modern blinders,
we can always say we never saw it coming,
but then can hardly accept it when it does.
Sometimes lover,
to sever is a prerequisite,
if we ever hope for some reconnection.
If I ever hope to be together with you,
I have to sever this connection every nanosecond,
and hope it comes back online.
This is love.
Like tasting water,
we would not understand or appreciate its flavor,
if we never spent a fleeting moment without it.

'the time slices of silence'
I love that-silence does have a way of haunting.
I think all together should be 'altogether', I may be wrong about the context though.
I can't offer much else as far as revision, this is very personal, to change the words would change the initial intent, but I relate to this - too well, maybe.
