How do I measure
treasure?
Does it provide me with
trouble
or pleasure?
Is it gold, silver, a gem
or diadem?
Silk brocades, priceless paintings;
all, or none,
of them?
For me, it's nothing vile--
a lover's smile,
sunlight on soft skin,love
and deep affection,
beyond all guile.

Ahh, now they are indeed true treasures to measure dear poet.

Lovely poem. The most valuable things in life can't be weighed against money or gold. I like how you phrased the answer to the questions.
For me, it's nothing vile--
a lover's smile, -
Beautiful poem, full of warmth. Good luck in the contest
